The latest Eurobarometer survey shows record-high support for the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), with 78% of respondents aware of it. It is also seen as driving investment, creating jobs, tackling climate change, ensuring reasonable food prices, reducing regional disparities, and encouraging youth to join the agricultural sector. Around 92% of respondents believe agriculture and rural areas are essential to our future, with more than half considering EU financial support to farmers as adequate.
